A warm welcome awaits you at Peartree Cottage, a charming two-bedroom, self-catering cottage standing in the 2-acre grounds of Howards Gorhuish, close to the village of Northlew, near Okehampton in Devon;. Okehampton being the Gateway to the Dartmoor National Park and it’s dramatic landscape! We are a family-oriented business, offering comfortable accommodation at affordable rates.

Our cottage is ideal for countryside lovers who just want to get away from it all.  It is ideal for those who enjoy cycling, horse riding, golf, fishing, or walking the many footpaths and trails, not forgetting of course, the wonderful South West coastal path, exploring the coves and quaint fishing villages along the way.

You may also rest in the private garden of Peartree cottage  or the adjoining wild flower meadow whilst watching the swallows swoop and dive in the summer and the starlings gathering for their winter roosts murmurations abound!   Listen to the wonderful birdsong.  Wonder at the skies at night and enjoy the ambience of this beautiful corner of Devon.
